When I read Raymond Fowler's new book, SYNCHROFILE, I did not read it as a passive observer, but rather as one who has somehow shared in the richness of the types of synchronicity that the author has so exhaustively and lucidly presented in his work on synchronicity. For those who are still unfamiliar with this subject, its definition will be thrashed out as we explore its richness, both from the author's point of view - AS WELL AS MY OWN - where I hope to show the "commonality" of these extraordinary occurrences from the "X-FILES" of my own life's notes.
After going through this exercise, I hope to accept the challenge of the author (as he presented in his "CONCLUSION" chapter about the "causality" factor that may well be inherent in the phenomenon of synchronicity. The author seems still ambivalent about the root thereof, partly because it seems to run counter to his "fundamentalist Christian" belief, as well as to run seemingly counter to "scientific materialism." His exact quote from the book is as follows:
"My experiences and those of probably millions of others are still at odds with the belief systems of society, at large. This is particularly so with that segment of society that represents scientific materialism and fundamentalism in religion. (p.234)
Since this particular author is considered (at least by me) as one of the most knowledgeable Ufologists, having written at least ten other books on this and related subjects (like the paranormal and alien abduction phenomenon,) I think he was being extremely candid in calling himself as one who is living a "schizophrenic-like double life." (p.231) By the end of this essay, I would like to address what Mr. Fowler would like to see: AN ATTEMPT TO FIND A BRIDGING WORLD VIEW THAT ENCOMPASSES BOTH UFOs & THE ALIEN ABDUCTION
PHENOMENON IN BOTH RELIGION AND EVERYDAY LIFE. I feel that the phenomenon of SYNCHRONICITY holds the key to the above, but not in an "a causal way" but rather in a causal way, i.e. with intelligent elegant purpose & design! Fowler points to some of the inadequacies of mainstream science when it comes to addressing "A CAUSALITY" since mainstream science itself fudges (at best) the data found within what I frame as TOTAL REALITY; [cf. APPENDIX A for examples of this.]
FOWLER DEFINING THE TYPES OF SYNCHRONICITY The author structures his book in such a way so that the average person who may not have encountered or is just beginning to encounter the phenomenon of synchronicity, may have an idea of its many variations. Chapters III, IV & V address the major types of synchronicity that I have myself had experience with, so these three types will be explored first & foremost. After this, the "more bizarre" and non-mainstream forms of synchronicity (including the UFO-PARANORMAL-ALIEN ABDUCTION PHENOMENON-as well as RELIGIOUS/SPIRITUAL forms, will be addressed subsequently. What it all may mean will be grappled with in my concluding remarks.
CONCURRENT COINCIDENCES ("CONC-C") This is indeed the most familiar and most recognizable form of synchronicity. Fowler defines it on page 10 as coincidences that occur simultaneously. [The psychiatrist, Carl Jung, came to the conclusion that these could be called, "Meaningful coincidences."]
Fowler gives many examples from his diary in chapter III. I will give just one so that the reader knows precisely what this type of synchronicity (sync) relates to. The author entered the following entry: DECEMBER 14, 1999: While listening to my headset radio and working on my income tax, I turned to an item that I had purchased from a company named "LEARNING." Express at the same time that the radio announcer mentioned the word "LEARNING" twice. Seconds later, the same announcer said the word "JUST" at the exact moment I typed the word "JUST." Now I am sure that most people have somehow recognized similar "coincidences" in their daily life BUT PAID NO ATTENTION TO IT...for the very reasons that "mainstream science" pays no attention to it. To them (and perhaps conventional reality) they pay no attention because they honestly believe that there could be any CAUSAL RELATION between or among the above or any other coincidences.... When I had my first SYNC - I felt the same way. WHAT CHANGED MY MIND? As any good "lay" scientist would attest, when one starts to see a SIGNAL within the NOISE, one starts to begin to connect the "possible" dots. This is what happened to me - not once, nor twice, but OVER 400 TIMES AND COUNTING SINCE 1993. I will just give the reader a few examples from my own (X-FILES) diary notebook that I began taking in 1995 (the same year that Fowler, coincidentally started taking notes on synchronistic happenings.) WITNESS: EX. #1 & #2: RISK & OTHER SYNCHS: The first synchronism that I vividly remember was on the word 'risk'.... In 1993, I was coming out of my bathroom, and as I looked at the wall, I saw the word 'risk' which I had put up on the wall previously. Just then, I heard on the TV, the word 'risky' and thought that it was quite a coincidence. . What I found even more amazing was that the words I had had a synch on WERE NOT JUST WORDS, BUT THEY SEEMED TO BE FORMING A PATTERN OF SIGNIFICANT PARTS OF MY UNFOLDING LIFE.
FOR INSTANCE: I once had a significant disagreement with the leader of a local UFO group. He had wanted me to do a TV show about the 'ALIEN ABDUCTION PHENOMENON', but not in the way that I thought it should be done. I was so upset by his approach that I had decided to give him an 'ULTIMATUM' that we either do the show the way I thought was best, or he could do it without my services. As I wrote the word 'ULTIMATUM' in preparation for my resignation letter, I started over to the desk to write the letter: I gazed at the bold word~'ULTIMATUM' and at that exact second ~ I heard the word 'ULTIMATUM' on the TV. This convinced me that what I was about to do was correct and in fact, it proved to be correct, since the leader acquiesced to my 'demands' and the show did, in fact, turn out to be successful ~ by doing the show on PUBLIC ACCESS TV in lieu of NATIONAL TV where this phenomenon is treated like a 'CIRCUS!' ((and still is!))
CORRESPONDING COINCIDENCES (CORR-C) This type of sync Fowler explains in chapter IV, namely that which is identical to "CONC-C" but the sync does not take place simultaneously. [This is important for anyone who wants to come to grips with the data, demanding that one takes good & accurate notes on the FIRST "DOT" of the subsequent "correspondence."] In chapter IV, the author gives an example (of which both he & myself have had many.) On page 39, Fowler has the following entry:
"September 29, 1995: In England, while traveling to London airport by subway, our fare came to "EXACTLY SIX POUNDS, 20 PENCE." At the airport, we had lunch at a Cafe. The bill for the lunch came to exactly "SIX POUNDS, 20 PENCE."
When I read this, I ALMOST FELL OFF MY CHAIR!!! In 1995, I had done a public access TV program about the subject of SYNCHRONICITY with a journalist who had had nothing but syncs since he was a child, and "coincidentally" is heavily involved with the UFO-PARANORMAL-ALIEN ABDUCTION PHENOMENON AND SYNCHRONICITY. His name is Harold Egeln, and we were trading stories on the air about this exact subject, i.e. the sync of the EXACT BILL as being part of a larger "converging sync." Since my co-host & I were both involved with our own "CORR-C" - I thought it appropriate to relate our story on the air in front of Harold. It goes like this:
Kenny Lloyd, (my former co-host on Ufology programs,) his wife Mary and I, were in Plymouth, Ct. area, and having breakfast in a local diner where I paid the bill. We were discussing Ken's sighting of a UFO the night before, and only knew the general direction from which it had come. The bill for the meal was $20.62 (eerily similar to "6 LBS., 20 PENCE.”) The reason I even remembered it and commented on it to Kenny & Mary was the fact that when I reached into my pocket to pull out my change, I had EXACTLY 62 cents...so when I handed the lady the twenty dollar bill, I said: "This means something!" When we started the car, we thought that this was a possible sign as to how to find the area where the UFO was detected by Kenny the night before. [What he saw was a white sphere barbing behind some trees near Plymouth.] Anyway, as we drove, we got to ROUTE 262, and I instinctively said; "MAKE A RIGHT, HERE!" [This was the start of ROUTE 262...AND Mary even said that when it came to following numbers in synchronicity, one could "DROP THE ZERO" - so - 2062 could be construed as 262! SO FAR SO GOOD.... Then "coincidentally" we drove down the road until we passed a reservoir, and the very next house had an address of "262." so following this ongoing seeming "correspondence" we stopped the car.
Just then, we happened upon a baby duck that had gotten stranded in the reservoir so we decided to try to get it out. JUST THEN, a man came out from across the street and he just happened to be the custodian for the reservoir. As we got into a conversation about what we were looking for, he suddenly revealed that white-sphere UFOs have been seen recently behind the reservoir!?! [WOW!] He also mentioned that they have been seen in the area for quite some time but no one knows what these strange lights were! Another Fowler reference confirms to me the "commonality" of these extraordinary "coincidences" that begs the question of MEANING! On page 51, he relates the "CORR-C" of what happened on November 26, 2001:
"...Today a friend named Barry "GREENWOOD" came by to pick up some files. [[Barry Greenwood is a famous UFO author himself, as is Fowler,]] After he left, Margaret (Raymond's wife,) suggested that we go for a walk on an old road that a friend had mentioned. When we arrived at the road, we saw a sign at its entrance. It read "GREENWOOD" Avenue."
Well, as soon as I read this, I remembered what happened to Janet Russell (alien abductee, psychic and now TV personality,) who was driving with me in 1999 to do a public access TV show on - get this - "SYNCHRONICITY!" As we drove to the TV station on Long Island, I casually mentioned that we should do some stuff on UFOs - and especially Peter Robbins co-authored book, 'LEFT AT EAST GATE' (about a famous UFO case in history,) Just then, I mentioned to Janet that the street we were crossing at the time was called, "EAST GATE!!!" [She thought this was so "funny" that she mentioned it during the program.] There are innumerable other examples of "COR-C" & "CONC-C" syncs both in Fowler's book and on my websites (which I will refer the reader to later,) but for the sake of brevity, I will move forward to Fowler's THIRD TYPE OF COINCIDENCE:
THE CONVERGING COINCIDENCE ["CONV-C"]
This is truly the next level or layer of the subtle web of synchronicity, and close attention is needed to abstract its POTENTIAL ESSENCE! Fowler defines this type as follows on page 72, where he says that these types of coincidences do not materialize until sometime in the future, and at that point of time are verifiable.
One example from the Fowler book from page 90:
December 22, 1999: Fowler relates how his computer and printer would come on BY ITSELF on occasion. On this particular date, he noted interestingly enough, THEY CAME ON AT EXACTLY THE TIME THAT [HE] WAS THINKING OF CONTINUING TO WRITE [HIS] BOOK (which he did from the computer.)
I had a similar experience, which I called THE FAN INCIDENT. As I was passing my fan in my apartment (1996) I thought to myself that the fan, (which was perched precariously upon a box,) would topple and fall. As soon as I had passed the fan, I heard A TREMENDOUS NOISE. I went back to check the fan, but it was still there; meanwhile, (strangely) a cup had (at that exact second)
crashed to the ground off of my stove in the kitchen. [I have no explanation as to how this could have happened...and I too have had innumerable things going on or off in my apartment without any apparent reason…things like lights and fans and even a TV (witnessed by my son Mark while we were "coincidentally" talking about paranormal things; these kinds of things are
thoroughly explored in my online book, THE BUD AND THE BLOSSOM (Section I,) located at:
http://hey_223.tripod.com/thebudtheblossom/ At this time, I will give two other EXTRAORDINARY examples from my own life as to the possible clues exemplified in "CONV-C" syncs! This will be further alluded to at the end of this essay. #1: THE MIRROR INCIDENT: On Feb. 11th, 1995, while watching TV around midnight, I heard & saw something 'flicker' in the mirror behind the TV. As I stretched my head to see what was 'flickering' ~ I suddenly heard on the TV: DON'T LOOK AT STRANGE THINGS IN MIRRORS. Well I thought that that was synchronistically strange, but since I was so tired, I decided to go to bed and write it in my diary in the morning. The next morning, when I was about to enter the past night's synch, I suddenly remembered what I had done exactly two weeks prior to this: I had seen a TV show about a psychomantium [how by looking into strange mirrors ~ strange things may happen] so I decided to experiment by dragging out two mirrors from the bathroom and put them in front of the same TV that I had had this 'mirror' synch two weeks later.... Anyway, I felt weird even doing this because I had turned down the lights & even disconnected the phone. ~ NOTHING HAPPENED ~ THANK GOD!
NOW IN THE SOBER LIGHT OF THE DAY ON Feb. 12th ~ IT DAWNS ON ME AGAIN THAT THIS PHENOMENON CALLED ~ SYNCHRONICITY ~ MAY BE NOTHING MORE THAN 'some form of communication' FROM ONE VIBRATION TO ANOTHER FROM SOMEONE OR SOME INTELLIGENCE THAT MAY KNOW MORE THAN WE DO ABOUT WHAT IS ~ AND IS NOT GOOD FOR US!~~~~~~It was a staggering thought - like telling a child not to play with matches - or the curious - not to play with OUIJA BOARDS so I felt it may have been a WARNING SYNCH! [I subsequently read a book called, THE HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE which confirmed certain notions about synchronicity that have more to do with our minds interacting with the intelligence of the universe than we could hardly have suspected earlier on in this past century....I heartily recommend reading Michael Talbot's book.] [NOTE: The above "sync" took about thirteen days to completely unfold before a "possible" EUREKA...and if this were the only time it happened, I would not make a big deal out of it. BUT IT WASN'T! - AND NOT BY A LONG SHOT! I will only cite one other "CONV-C' (or what Fowler conceives as a type of sync,) to back-up my claim that this extraordinary phenomenon is also part of our "COMMON EXPERIENCE."
ANASTASIA AND THE INCENSE STICKS [Before reading the below series of "CONV-C" syncs, be warned that this is far from conventional thought and may well involve a paranormal aspect OVER TIME...in the below case, almost three months!]
The incident started on OCTOBER 12, 1995 [COLUMBUS DAY]:
On October 12, 1995, while still living in my New York apartment, I had put a 'sandalwood' stick of incense in its holder at 9 AM as was my daily custom. I lit it so the room would smell nice as I reentered the room from taking my morning shower. By 9:25, I was ready to prepare for my
business day which would commence around 10:30 AM and go to about 2 AM; as a researcher, I found it was best to work late at night....THE INCENSE STICK WOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT HALF FINISHED. When I gazed the incense holder, the incense was GONE - VANISHED!
I was concerned because I was now 'missing' a lit candle, in effect, yet it was nowhere to be seen. If it had completely burned down, the stick would have been stuck in the blasted holder, as had happened every day heretofore, as long as I started doing this as a type of ritual. There wasn't even any evidence of a burned or non-burned stick on the floor ~ A TRUE MYSTERY! This mystery remained unresolved until January 1st, 1996, which is also NEW YEAR'S DAY! Here, you must follow this synchronistic series of events closely: I had & still have four tea boxes of various colors that were given me by my third son, Peter. On this blessed day, when I went into the kitchen area, I noticed over the stove, where I kept all four, the YELLOW TEA BOX was on its side ~ just like the alien statue, which was itself on its side atop an alien stamp pad, on August 30th, 1995, as previously related. [This was noted in the manuscript as linked to above, in
Section I.] When I picked up the YELLOW TEA BOX, it was marked, "JASMINE" which I hadn't noticed before, since I am a coffee drinker, in the main - not a tea-MAN. Now Jasmine was at that time, the first choice when I purchased fragrance incense sticks for apartment use, except once when a woman gave me a small supply of 'SANDALWOOD' sticks, which I was using because I had run out of the Jasmine. Anyway... On January 2nd, 1996, I came up with a possible theory: ANA prefers the Jasmine to the Sandalwood incense sticks, to the degree that she "stole" the lit Sandalwood stick back on OCTOBER 12TH!?! SHE PUNCTUATED THIS POINT ON JANUARY FIRST. (There seems to be NO OTHER plausible explanation for these series of events. If you would allow the answer to be "yes" to the above, then the TURNING OF OBJECTS may be, in fact, a form of paranormal communiqué. Thus, this series of events becomes a newly appreciated form of understanding from one lover ~ in a now different level of vibration, to another person, THE beloved! [I will be the first person to say that this is so bizarre that it couldn't possibly be true; however, I am still left with very unanswered suggested data...that is also part of a larger form of possible communication. [As a BULLdog researcher, I am also a fanatic when it comes to the details of things.] This causality question - I believe - is at the heart of the phenomenon of synchronicity, and I will cite examples of why I believe so at the end of this essay....CONTINUING ON... Which brings me to the subject of what exactly do we mean by the word 'ALIEN?' Anastasia, technically, is an alien, just like a ghost is an 'alien' to our eyes, even though they seem to cohabitate the same 3rd dimensional density as us, but perhaps on a DIFFERENT FREQUENCY. I PROPOSE, MODESTLY, THAT IT MAY BE OUR COLLECTIVE FEAR THAT KEEPS THE THINGS of TOTAL REALITY WRAPPED UP IN A BOX---for---FILE 13!!! WHY DON'T WE ADMIT THE BOX IS THERE, AND OPEN IT TOGETHER??? [cf. the insightful book, WE DON'T DIE, by Joel Martin, about the life of George Anderson, for a start ~ into the possible understanding of communications from those who have died to those who are "still alive" as we understand it.] When I first 'felt' a feminine spirit in my apartment, I was asked by a professional psychic (not Janet) if I wanted it exorcised. I said, "NO!" simply because I felt a certain kindness about me within that same apartment. Besides, I always attempt to think positively about life, so I do not go around in fear of things; I'm simply curious about things...and the more strange, the more curious I become. [I thought this was a natural trait in people ~ but I've learned differently, especially about those people who live in either DENIAL OR FEAR.] I am very 'big' on getting to the root of things. This is a good place to segue into the "fears" or at least concerns of the author, Raymond Fowler...so since he has PLOWED THE RICH FIELDS OF SYNCS, let's go down the other rabbit holes together into OTHER TYPES OF SYNCS OF THE SUPERNATURAL KIND, SHALL WE? Perhaps, (armed with open minds and hearts,) we shall recognize the seeds of budding truths - ready to BLOSSOM for those "who can take it."
NEXT UP: COUNTER COINCIDENCES ["COUN-C"]:
What is a counter coincidence? Fowler explains it as follows: In layman’s terms, it is something that we come face-to-face with that somehow DOES NOT SQUARE WITH WHAT WE HAVE BEEN TOLD ABOUT THIRD DIMENSIONAL REALITY. [This is where we lose conventional type people who refuse to look at the evidence...or put a conventional spin on it to the point of ludicrousness; I have seen evidence of this phenomenon of how otherwise intelligent people cannot reconcile the data of the ALIEN ABDUCTION PHENOMENON (as in beings floating through walls) with their notion of reality..so therefore: IT MUST BE IN THE MIND OF THE ALLEGED ABDUCTEE/VICTIM. The recently deceased John Mack - who himself as a psychiatrist dismissed this simplistic notion of internal trauma as not being the root cause of the abductees collective experience,) was himself hounded by his professional colleagues. SO WHAT ELSE IS NEW?} The irony is that the one person (Fowler) who brings to the discussion probably more than any other person when it comes to ALL OF THE ABOVE...himself is shrouded with doubt and conflict because of what he stated (and was cited) in the beginning of this essay. So as we march through these so-called "COUN-C" syncs, keep in mind that the data in itself is only as good as the person who can perceive its significance. [I believe that this is the reason why truth in history comes painfully slow, and grinds even more slowly. TOTAL REALITY IS A SCARY THING TO SOME...]
Having said this, a counter sync is this from chapter VIII, regarding SUPERNATURAL SYNCHRONISMS: "Two events that should naturally coincide do not." (p.123)
One example from the myriad examples Fowler gives occurs on page 127 and I will relate the essence of the whole paragraph:
A little girl wanted Fowler to kiss her on the lips, but he was reluctant to do so since he deemed this inappropriate in the present setting (a group of retarded children were attending a morning service at a local BAPTIST church.) Fowler goes on to explain – that at that exact second - TWO STRONG HANDS APPLIED PRESSURE
ON FOWLER SO THAT HE WOULD BE ENCOURAGED TO KISS HER. (Raymond thought that this was the scoutmaster encouraging him, but this was not the case.) Since there was no one there (Fowler was standing right next to a wall, in fact,) what occurred was COUNTER to his wishes, but not counter to the little girl's wishes. This is astounding, and if true, can only suggest the presence of an invisible intelligent entity that understands the thoughts of the little girl, and executes the
request with "loving" force.... Believe it or not, I myself have had similar "brushes" with the paranormal, and I will cite one extraordinary example, not only to show the COMMONALITY of this type of "COUN-C" sync, but also to show a possible RHYME & REASON TO IT...positing a possible CAUSAL RELATIONSHIP both with the paranormal and synchronicity. [The implications are staggering!]
DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE WITH Inspector lebeau: The year is 2003. The month is January. The day is the 24th! I am minding my own business (as usual) while in AISLE 10 of a local supermarket. Suddenly, I felt "something" brush against my left shoulder, but there was no one else in AISLE 10 at the time?!? Since I have had paranormal things happen to me before, I DID NOT FREAK OUT...but rather took myself to the end of the aisle and evaluated the situation. I looked at my watch, and noted the date: JANUARY 24TH. I looked at the aisle number: AISLE 10.
EUREKA! I then put together the following POSSIBLE SCENARIO (similar to ANASTASIA & THE INCENSE STICKS.) I am currently separated from my wife who I had, in fact, married on January 24th, 1970. I first started having paranormal and synchronistic experiences in 1993 (as related in THE BUD AND THE BLOSSOM.) 2003 is the 1OTH ANNIVERSARY of my ostensible communication with a spirit who turns out to be a past life lover, ANASTASIA (as confirmed by two sources, including Janet Russell, as outlined in my manuscript.) So this is what I thought of that cold day on January 24th, 2003: ANASTASIA was reminding me of OUR ANNIVERSARY (of sorts) and punctuated the point by demonstrating her "brush" on the very day where I would connect the dots.....
I probably lost many people reading this at this point - but - THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH! I have stated this many times and in many ways, and I have also been judged of sound mind (even by the criminal system) where I sat on a criminal jury to judge a harsh crime, and also was called to sit on a civil trial jury. I had taught successfully for five years before successfully running my own independent insurance business for the next twenty years, while pursuing my avocation of Ufology as well as my research into higher spirituality. SO I possibly may be in a position to weigh the challenge of Fowler in chapter XIII, which begs for a fuller answer to the nature of synchronicity.
BEFORE WE END: WRAPPING UP INCIDENTAL TYPES OF SYNCS A vexing type of sync is the so-called CLOCK SYNC. Fowler on numerous occasions addresses this sensitive issue, both in this book under discussion as well as THE ANDREASSON LEGACY. I have read most of Fowler's books (especially the ones on Betty Andreasson Luca, and family) and only have a HUNCH as to what these CLOCK SYNCS could be all about. What is eerie to me is that I have had similar CLOCK SYNCS (as in seeing 1:11 - 2:22 - and variations of this where my eyes "were drawn to" a digital clock when I didn't even wish to know the time. In his chapter on CLOCK COINCIDENCES (chapter VI,) Fowler gave me the impression that his constantly seeing and reacting to numbers like 1:11-2:22-3:33-4:44 & 5:55, in particular, suggested to me that he was a "victim" of post hypnotic suggestion to either perform (or not perform) a given task in the alien abduction phenomenon. [Fowler is an admitted abductee, and gives much evidence to suggest a causal relationship between CLOCK SYNCS & THE ALIEN ABDUCTION PHENOMENON.] I personally had witnessed such a phenomenon while still in college upstate, where a friend of mine (T. GREY) was hypnotized by a co-friend of ours (while I was in THE BROTHERHOOD of a Catholic institution,) who had no idea of what we were doing during our "recreation" period. [This happened around 1963, but I remember it like it was yesterday.] BROTHER GREY was instructed by BROTHER G who had definitely hypnotized him, that when he came out of the trance, that when the clock
struck one pm, T. GREY would suddenly get up, go over to the clock, pick up a book on the mantelpiece, open up to a particular page (I forgot the number) and then start reading from that page. Needless to say, the rest of us (about seven in number) were awaiting anxiously what would happen when the clock struck one pm. SUDDENLY, in the middle of talking, T. GREY got up and opened the book on the mantelpiece, and started reading from the directed page. As he did, we all started laughing, but I was watching GREY very carefully; he could not understand why we were laughing. After BROTHER G explained what had happened, GREY did not accept the fact that he had been hypnotized. [For those who have trouble with this, there is an excellent example of this phenomenon in Michael Talbot's book, THE HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE...where a man, Tom, would receive a post-hypnotic suggestion that would actually allow him to "not see" his daughter – but then be able to "see through her" to read something off a watch! My question is: WHAT ARE ALL THE PARAMETERS OF TOTAL REALITY?!?
ADDRESSING FOWLER'S CONCERNS
It is impossible for me in such a short essay to address all of the implications of FOWLER'S FINDINGS AND EXPERIENCES; however, I can begin the discussion on a few fronts that sorely need exploration - in science - in religion - in higher spirituality - that may connect certain dots. I cited in my own manuscript the observation of Michio Kaku, who had suggested: SEEMING CONTRADICTIONS ON ONE LEVEL CAN BE RESOLVED IF LOOKED UPON FROM A HIGHER VANTAGE POINT. Using this wise observation as my benchmark, and armed with certain knowledge (GNOSIS) a knowledge that perhaps is beyond ‘normal’ knowing, we can begin to surmise and put together certain concepts that may - in fact - address the possible CAUSALITY FACTOR of SYNCHRONICITY.... In my own experience, I have witnessed this process, from the word "RISK" - the function of "ULTIMATUM" the understanding of suggestions NOT TO LOOK INTO STRANGE MIRRORS - and feelings from one vibration to another (via synchronicity) as to why ANASTASIA preferred jasmine to sandal wood or was reminding me of our anniversary since I COULD NOT SEE HER! There are less frivolous things that I did not even bring up that also very specifically was leading me ON MY DESIGNATED PATH (if one can accept that this universe is governed by a loving intelligence that directs us in subtle ways, always guiding us when we ourselves feel SO SO ALONE.) Once I was so depressed that I prayed to Jesus to COME TO ME. The way he did this was incredible, and I had to reflect it in a poem, which I called, "COME TO ME, JESUS." The poem went like this:
Come to me, Jesus:
I feel so so so bad;
Come to me, Jesus
And heal myself so sad....
The days went by:
I made a sandwich~TWO!
Clumsy me did drop the BREAD
Not JUST one slice~but TWO! Clumsy me did stoop & gaze:
The kitchen floor showed ONE:
I picked it up and looked again~
Wondering 'THE ONE'!
The day went by:
The kitchen floor I spied;
The 'OTHER PIECE' did show itself~
Fixing to my eye.
While pondering this mystery:
A piercing thought did knife~
My Lord~my Jesus~once He said:
I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE.... This poem reflected the synchronicity of my first SUPERNATURAL "counter sync" EXPERIENCE. As Fowler relates, something happened that should not have happened (bread disappearing) and then "happened again" (reappeared in my viewing. The significance, at least to me, was that I seemingly recognized the METAPHOR (Jesus as the BREAD OF LIFE) and the SIGNIFICANCE OF THAT SAME METAPHOR (that He is with us whether we see him or not) and since I directly asked Him to come...HE CAME!
To me, this speaks volumes about the paranormal - the supernatural (or what we label as supernatural) and CAUSALITY VIA SYNCHRONISTIC HAPPENINGS!!! The evidence is all around us if we have the proper type of SIGHT.... When I had decided to RISK ALL to resist the tyranny of the lies of the Internal Revenue Service, I was not disappointed, since they made it their business to make sure that I would pay THE LAST PENNY in so resisting. DID I COMPLAIN? NO! I had a comforting sync on the following: BLESSED ARE THEY THAT SUFFER PERSECUTION FOR JUSTICE SAKE! These words were in my apartment in 1994-1996 during the time when I had decided to so resist the IRS. As I gazed at these words and saw the word "SUFFER" ~ I heard the exact word "SUFFER" on a tape I was playing at that exact moment: "JESUS CHRIST, SUPERSTAR" which left me feeling quite happy, despite my depression of being alone and being financially devastated by the IRS. In the realm of science, both Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson have broken ground in getting us to understand that what science is teaching is far from the reality of the situation. Their joint book, FORBIDDEN ARCHEOLOGY is a scholarly treatise that examines how little science is willing to acquiesce to. Cremo goes even further in his latter book, HUMAN DEVOLUTION, where the many subjects that Ray Fowler addresses - are addressed in SPADES by Cremo, showing clearly that science does not have it right when it comes to the sensitive subjects of ESP - NEAR DEATH
EXPERIENCES (NDE) - OUT-OF-BODY EXPERIENCES (OBE) and a host of other subjects that bear on the spiritual and supernatural. In my own research, I have found (via the Gnostic understanding of the original concepts of Jesus,) that WE (you & I) are intimately connected with the SOURCE - THE FATHER OF ALL - as Jesus would call Him - ABBA - via THE DIVINE SPARK. This connecting process is linked by the dynamic known as EMANATIONS, which THE ORTHODOX CHURCH sabotaged almost two thousand years ago. In my opinion, this is the reason why Fowler uses the curious expression of "schizophrenic-like double life" as alluded to in my opening remarks. Without beating around the bush, it has been shown me that SYNCHRONICITY is CAUSAL in nature, and acts as positive reinforcement for those who are on the path of spiritual maturity...so it becomes a fundamental building block of total reality. CAUTIONARY NOTE: I do not have the symptoms of an abductee that Fowler has cited about himself, i.e. scars and scoop-marks on my skin, nose bleeds and blood on my bed things nor bouts with invisible beings (except maybe ANASTASIA.) As I mentioned before, CLOCK SYNCS may be symptomatic of some form of POST HYPNOTIC SUGGESTION that may or may not have something to do with an agenda of beings presently unknown. We do know (at least from the Gnostic writings, that certain beings (not of flesh and blood) do exist and interface with human beings. Even St. Paul had strongly suggested this in his epistle: EPHESIANS 6:12.. The beings in the Gnostic literature are known as "ARCHONS" and their reality is emphatically remarked upon in a tractate called, HYPOSTASIS OF THE ARCHONS, located in a 1945 find, THE NAG HAMMADI LIBRARY. Anyone who seriously studies the implications of these writings - that go beyond the limitations of orthodoxy - will BEGIN TO SEE THE REAL LIGHT...and not the FALSE LIGHT.
I will leave you with my last synchronistic occurrence, but before I do, I wish to highly endorse the reading of Fowler's new book, so the reader can perceive the data necessary to integrate before making an informed decision on the subject of SYNCHRONICITY, as well as on the subjects of UFOs - the paranormal - and esoteric spirituality. It also wouldn't hurt to read THE NAG HAMMADI LIBRARY - in toto - either.
PUT OUT THE LIGHT!
Well, today is October 16, 2004. I was heading out at TWILIGHT while playing my PRERECORDED TAPE of songs that were taken from the radio.... It is now 6pm and just getting dark so I decided (reluctantly) to put my CAR lights on. I say reluctantly, because sometimes I forget to turn them off when I park and it is not yet completely dark...and I am afraid the battery may run down. As soon as I did, I "cleverly" decided to put a note on the other seat which reads, "PUT LIGHTS OUT?" Just as I put this note on the seat, I distinctly heard from the prerecorded tape: PUT OUT THE LIGHTS!
I thought this so strange and coincidental that I decided to rewind the prerecorded tape and listen to what was played between the two songs I was listening to: THE WORDS WERE NO LONGER THERE:-(...and I distinctly heard them between these two songs....
I wonder what Raymond Fowler would call this type of sync??? POSTSCRIPT: When I got to my destination (it was still light) but I PUT OUT MY CAR LIGHTS! Then I wrote the "guts" of what you are reading now....>[[I have had syncs with radios and tapes before...but this is the first time I could not confirm the sync EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I HEARD IT!
PERHAPS...the LIGHT I was being instructed to PUT OUT was the FALSE LIGHT OF IGNORANCE that keeps man under the chains of bondage where he is not free to find THE TRUTH OF LIBERATION. As Jesus said, I AM THE WAY - THE TRUTH - AND THE LIFE. If we go within (where the kingdom is) and follow that truth, neither going to the right nor to the left, and have faith in the Father to bring us to that truth, then the "seeming contradictions" that - according to Kaku - can be reconciled on a higher plain of understanding - will be revealed to us. Those who have experienced NDEs have intuited that there is a TEMPLE where all truth abounds, but one must die to see and feel it. Maybe SYNCHRONICITY is a glimmer of that truth if we have the sense to intuit its messages - messages that may be from our higher reality - our final destination! POSTSCRIPT II: One day I tried a new way home. The day before I was shown this shortcut by a man (ANDY) who directed me through a labyrinth adjacent to my own neighborhood, but never frequented by me. He showed me to make a turn on VIRGINIA, AND then a turn on ARIZONA. I neglected to write down the directions since (I thought) all I needed to remember was the two street names. The next day I got to Virginia St., but did not remember whether to turn right or left. AT THAT EXACT SECOND, I heard on the radio a song being sung by John Denver, and he was
singing, "WEST VIRGINIA, MOUNTAIN MAMA, TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROAD." To show you how dense I was (even after 400 syncs and the sun in the west glaring me in the face,) I TURNED RIGHT AWAY FROM THE sun AND NEVER FOUND "ARIZONA ST." WAS THERE A LESSON HERE? YES! INDUBITABLY! If I ‘wanna’ go home, I better listen to and trust my syncs, since there certainly was a causal relationship between going WEST & GOING HOME! |
